From Local Bars to Viral Stardom: The Journey of Jimi 

Standing out as an artist can be a daunting task. However, Jimi, a talented musician from St Albert, Alberta, has successfully navigated the complexities of the digital landscape to amass over 300,000 followers on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. "I've been doing this for basically my whole life... for the longest time I was kind of like, I want to do this the old school way. I want to play in bars," she shared. "This could be something cool," she recalled, recognizing the potential of her online presence. Jimi's move to Vancouver marked a significant turning point in her career. "It was like living in my parents' house in St. Albert, then I moved to Vancouver, downtown, big city. It was like almost like a culture shock," she described. Despite the challenges, this new environment allowed her to flourish. Notably, she received recognition from her idol Brian Adams, who slid into her DMs after seeing her viral video. "I got to go and hang out with him for a bit. It was just crazy," she recounted. This experience solidified her belief that she was on the right path.

As of January 2023, Jimi is set to embark on her first-ever tour, visiting various cities across British Columbia and Alberta. "I'm going to start in Vancouver. The Vancouver show is sold out. White Rock is also almost sold out," she excitedly shared. This tour represents both a celebration of her journey and a return to her roots. Jimi expressed her eagerness to perform in Edmonton, stating, "It's like one of those surreal moments...coming back home as a changed grown woman."
