As Remembrance Day approaches, Terry sits down with Maureen and Randall Purvis of the No Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation to explore how a promise made by a 12-year-old girl in 1971 grew into an international movement of remembrance.

Since its official beginning in Edmonton in 2011, No Stone Left Alone has connected thousands of students with Canada’s military history by bringing them into cemeteries to place poppies on veterans’ headstones, say their names, and simply say, “Thank you.” Today, the initiative reaches hundreds of locations across multiple countries.
